The Polban delegation was led by Dr. Tomy Andrianto, S.S.T., MM.Par. Their arrival was welcomed by the Vice Director for Student Affairs of Polines, Dr. Bagus Yunianto Wibowo, S.E., S.Kom., M.M., along with representatives from the Polines Student Representative Board (BPM).
The meeting served as a platform for sharing experiences and best practices in student affairs management within vocational higher education environments. Both parties discussed student organization development, the implementation of work programs, and coordination mechanisms between the institution and student organizations.
One of the primary topics of interest was the role of student representative institutions in accommodating and channeling student aspirations. The discussion also covered the working mechanisms and contributions of these institutions in fostering a democratic and participatory campus life.
The Vice Director for Student Affairs of Polines warmly welcomed the visit. According to him, benchmarking visits provide an opportunity for both institutions to broaden their perspectives while strengthening communication and institutional relations.
“We warmly welcome this benchmarking visit from Bandung State Polytechnic. This activity serves as an opportunity to exchange experiences and best practices in managing student organizations. It is hoped that through this discussion, both institutions can gain new perspectives to enhance the quality of student development and strengthen the role of student organizations within the campus environment,” he stated.
Through this activity, Polines and Polban are expected to exchange ideas and adopt best practices in student organization management. This collaboration is also expected to encourage the emergence of active, productive students with strong leadership skills.
This visit is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen synergy among vocational higher education institutions, particularly in creating a student ecosystem that supports student potential development and competitiveness.
