SEMARANG โ€” Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) is again holding the 2026 Polines Job Fair as a forum to bring together graduates and students with the industrial world. Carrying the theme "Show Your Skill, Build Your Future", this activity will take place on 19โ€“20 August 2026 at the Polines Multipurpose Building (GSG).

This activity was officially opened by the Director of Polines Dr. Garup Lambang Goro, S.T., M.T. Job Fair Polines 2026 is being implemented for the third time and continues to be developed as a means of bringing together the world of higher education with the world of business and industry (DUDI).

In his speech, Director Polines emphasized the importance of job fair activities as a bridge between the competencies possessed by students and the workforce needs in industry. Through this activity, students and graduates not only obtain information about job opportunities, but can also interact and take part in the recruitment process directly with companies.

"This job fair is a strategic space to bring together Polines talents with industry. We hope that this activity can open up more job opportunities while strengthening relations between Polines and the industrial world," he said.

Chief Executive of the Polines Job Fair 2026, Bayu Setyo Nugroho, S.ST., M.M., in his report said that the enthusiasm of participants for this year's activities was quite high. Until the activity was implemented, there were 4,416 registrants.

"At the 2026 Job Fair Polines, we are presenting 19 leading companies from various industrial sectors. It is hoped that this activity will provide job seekers with the opportunity to interact directly with companies and take part in the recruitment process," he said.

A total of 19 participating companies come from various sectors, ranging from manufacturing, financial services, garments, information technology, to automotive. The presence of companies from various sectors provides a wider choice of career opportunities for Polines students and graduates as well as the general public.

Meanwhile, the Head of UPA Career and Entrepreneurship Polines, Syahid, S.T., M.Eng., expressed his appreciation and thanks to all parties who have supported the organization of the 2026 Polines Job Fair.

According to him, collaboration between universities and industry is an important part in preparing graduates who suit the needs of the world of work.

"We would like to express our gratitude to all companies and industrial partners who have participated. The presence of industry directly on campus provides an excellent opportunity for students and graduates to get to know more closely the needs and career opportunities in the world of work," he said.

Support for the implementation of Job Fair Polines 2026 was also conveyed by the industry representative, PT Benua Green Energy, Abdul Hamid, S.BHG. He considers job fair activities to be a positive means of bringing companies together with potential job candidates.

"Activities like this really help the industry in getting talent that suits the company's needs. We support Polines Job Fair activities and hope that collaboration between industry and Polines can continue,"

Apart from the direct recruitment process, the Polines Job Fair 2026 also presents walk-in interviews and company talk shows. Participants can obtain information about companies, available positions, and various career development opportunities directly from industry representatives.

The opening series was then continued with a ribbon cutting by the Polines Director together with the leadership and industry representatives as a sign of the start of the 2026 Polines Job Fair. After that, the group visited a number of participating company stands to see firsthand the ongoing service and recruitment process.

With the high number of registrants and the involvement of 19 companies from various sectors, the 2026 Polines Job Fair is expected to further strengthen Polines' role in building a vocational education ecosystem that is connected to the needs of the world of work while opening wider career access for students and graduates. ang
